Directions to the School of Pharmacy
The University of Waterloo’s School of Pharmacy is located at 10 Victoria St. S., Kitchener, Ontario. It is approximately 5.3 km (3 miles) south-east of UW’s Main campus- about a ten minute drive and 110 km (68 miles) West of Toronto.
Driving Directions
From Main Campus
- When exiting campus, turn left onto University Ave West
- Turn right onto King St North
- Turn right onto Victoria St South
- Visitor parking is right at the Charles St lights
Coming West along Highway 401 (from London)
- Take Exit 278 for 8 toward Kitchener/Waterloo
- Keep right at fork, follow signs for Kitchener/Waterloo/Kings Hwy 8 and merge into Hwy 8 W
- Continue on King Street
- Turn left at Victoria St. S
- Visitor parking is right at the Charles St. lights
Coming East along Highway 401 (from Toronto)
- Take exit 278B for Co Hwy 8/King St E
- Merge onto Shantz Hill Rd
- Continue on King St E
- Take the Kings Hwy 8 W ramp to Kitchener/Waterloo
- Merge onto HWY-8 W
- Continue on King St E
- Turn left onto Victoria St. S
- Visitor parking is right at the Charles St. lights
From Buffalo and Niagara Falls
- Follow QEW in the Toronto direction to HWY 403 West (one hour)
- Follow 403 W to 6 North to 401 W
- Take exit 278
- Keep right at fork, follow signs for Kitchener/Waterloo/Kings Hwy 8 and merge into HWY-8 W
- Continue on King Street
- Turn left at Victoria St. S
- Visitor parking is right at the Charles St. lights
By Airplane
The Closest major airport is Pearson International Airport in Toronto, ON- about 1 hour east of the campus (Kitchener, Ontario). The easiest way to reach the School of Pharmacy is to hire an airport service such as Airways Transit (519-886-2121) to take you directly to the School. Kitchener-Waterloo is also home to the Region of Waterloo International Airport located at 4881 Fountain Street North in Breslau On. The best way to get to the School of Pharmacy from here is to hire an airport shuttle service or a taxi (it’s about a 20 minute drive).
